Lasernet Document Developer

Introduction & Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Lasernet Document Developer with over 6 years of experience to create and maintain reusable document templates for digital and print formats. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in design, proficiency in software such as Adobe PDF and Microsoft Office, and knowledge of coding for web templates. This role involves customizing templates, data mapping, and collaborating with various technical and business teams to facilitate efficient document generation and management.

Main Responsibilities:
The Lasernet Document Developer will be responsible for delivering high-quality document solutions tailored to business needs. Key responsibilities include:

• Design and develop high-quality, reusable templates for various formats like documents, PDFs, and emails using the Developer Tool or other Windows-based software.
• Ensure consistent branding, layout, and design elements across all templates.
• Configure layouts, workflows, and dynamic content to meet specific project requirements.
• Map and translate data from sources like JSON or XML into documents, ensuring accurate formatting.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Lasernet solutions, troubleshooting issues related to printing and data.

Key Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Proficiency with desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe PDF) and office suites (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of data formats like XML, JSON, and scripting languages as well as coding skills in HTML/CSS.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities for printing, formatting, and data mapping issues.
• Ability to clearly document processes and changes.
• Experience in requirements analysis and translating business needs into functional templates.
• Quality assurance skills, including testing templates and ensuring adherence to accuracy standards.
• Strong design and layout capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with user experience principles is beneficial.
• Lasernet expertise and experience in designing and configuring Lasernet solutions is a plus.
