Summary: The SAP ABAP Consultant will play a critical role in our SAP Development team located in Pune, India. The primary goal of this position is to gather SAP requirements, develop specifications, and maintain SAP applications across various systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute 3-5 years of experience in SAP Development, focusing on skills like SAP ABAP, SAP S/4 ABAP, SAP UI5, Fiori, and OOP ABAP.
- Utilize expertise in S4HANA ABAP, Object-oriented programming, Interface programming, and more.
- Implement and manage SAP enhancement techniques including exits, BADI, and AIF.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of HANA architecture, SQL, and HANA development tools.
- Perform performance tuning and debugging in HANA and cloud settings.
- Manage interfaces including ODATA APIs, ALE, and RFC.
- Utilize RESTful Application Programming model and BTP.
- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understand functional modules like FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, and EHS.
Key Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in SAP Development with strong proficiency in ABAP.
- Experience with S4HANA ABAP and Object-oriented programming.
- Hands-on experience with SAP interface programming (RFC, BAPI, ODATA).
- In-depth knowledge of HANA architecture and SQL.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with SAP enhancement techniques (exits, BADI).
- Experience with RESTful Application Programming model and BTP.
- Knowledge of functional modules like FI/CO, SD, and others.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
