Jr. SAP ABAP Consultant

Summary:

The role of the Jr. SAP ABAP Consultant focuses on the development and implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring that technical and functional requirements are effectively met within the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

• SAP Development & Implementation

• Gather and analyze SAP functional requirements and technical specifications
• Design, develop, test, configure, and deploy SAP ABAP solutions
• Maintain and enhance existing SAP applications and systems
• Work across multiple SAP modules and environments

• Technical Expertise

• Develop using SAP ABAP, SAP S/4HANA ABAP, SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, OOP ABAP, and SAP Cloud ABAP
• Build and enhance S/4HANA ABAP applications, leveraging object-oriented programming
• Work on interface programming including RFC, OData, BAPI, Web UI, SOAP, XML, and Web Dynpro
• Develop solutions on SAP HANA using Eclipse and modern ABAP syntax
• Implement SAP enhancement techniques such as Exits, BADI, and AIF

Key Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in SAP Development
• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP, S/4HANA ABAP, SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP ABAP), SAP Cloud ABAP
• Hands-on experience in interface programming (RFC, OData, BAPI, SOAP, etc.)
• Expertise in SAP enhancement techniques (BADI, Exits, AIF)
• Good knowledge of SAP HANA architecture, SQL, CDS, AMDP
• Performance tuning and debugging skills
• Experience with integration technologies (OData, APIs, IDocs, ALE, RFC)
• Understanding of SAP BTP and RAP model
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in cloud-based SAP environments
• Exposure to modern ABAP frameworks and development tools
• Ability to work in Agile or collaborative project environments
