JD Edwards Functional Consultant (Sales & Distribution)
Emagine is seeking a JD Edwards Functional Consultant (Sales & Distribution) to join a collaborative and international ERP team working across Europe. This role is ideal for an experienced functional consultant who wants to drive improvements in order-to-cash processes within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), while contributing to both project delivery and operational support. You will play a key role in process redesign, system optimization, and stakeholder collaboration, acting as a bridge between business needs and technical ERP capabilities.
This position combines hands-on functional expertise in JD Edwards with business process analysis and continuous improvement, requiring strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a structured, problem-solving mindset.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Support analysis and functional expertise within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), especially in Sales & Distribution processes
Participate in workshops, identify process or system issues, and propose improvements aligned with best practices
Collaborate with project managers to support planning, timelines, and solution design
Review, prioritize, and contribute to improvement initiatives within E1 order-to-cash processes
Develop business cases and support the implementation of process and system enhancements
Analyze order flows, identify transactional issues, and support resolution of operational inconsistencies
Provide occasional 3rd level support and recommend long-term problem management solutions
Produce high-quality documentation, including training materials, design documentation, and change requests
Utilize modern E1 tools such as Orchestrator, UDOs, E1 Pages, and BI Publisher reports
You Bring:
5+ years of experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), particularly in Sales & Distribution modules
Strong knowledge of order-to-cash processes and related business workflows
Experience in international or multi-country environments (consulting or multiple implementations is a plus)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field
Proactive mindset with strong focus on continuous improvement
Fluency in English for global collaboration
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed team environment
Nice to Have:
Experience with advanced pricing and advanced preferences in JD Edwards
Familiarity with EDI and web order interfaces (order intake through invoicing)
Exposure to Orchestrator, UDOs, E1 Pages, and BI Publisher reports
Experience working in Agile or structured delivery environments
Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and coordination skills
Location & Eligibility:
Candidates must be based in Portugal
Hybrid / On-site role in Porto (Portugal)
