JD Edwards ERP Specialist (Finance)

Emagine is seeking a JD Edwards ERP Specialist (Finance) to join a collaborative and international ERP Finance team working across Europe. This role is ideal for an experienced ERP professional with strong finance process knowledge and hands-on experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. You will contribute to finance process redesign, system improvements, and operational support across core financial modules, while acting as a key link between business stakeholders and the ERP organization.

This position combines functional expertise in JD Edwards Finance with business process analysis and continuous improvement, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured, problem-solving mindset.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Provide expert functional analysis and support within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), with focus on Finance modules

• Ensure best practices in E1 by participating in workshops, identifying issues, proposing solutions, and collaborating with project managers on planning and timelines

• Review and prioritize improvement suggestions for E1 finance processes and system design

• Develop business cases and lead or support process and system improvement initiatives

• Support finance operations during month-end and year-end close, including reporting and resolution of incomplete or inconsistent transactions

• Provide occasional 3rd level support and recommend long-term problem management solutions

• Produce high-quality documentation, including training materials, change requests, and functional/design documentation

• Utilize JD Edwards technologies such as Orchestrator, UDOs, E1 Pages, and BI Publisher reports

• Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders and IT teams in an international environment

You Bring:

• 3+ years of experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), specifically within Finance modules

• Strong understanding of financial processes, including GL, AP, AR, and accounting principles

• Experience supporting or participating in ERP implementations or rollouts

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field

• Proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement

• Fluency in English for international collaboration

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team

Nice to Have:

• Experience with month-end and year-end closing activities in ERP environments

• Exposure to Orchestrator, UDOs, E1 Pages, and BI Publisher reports

• Experience in international or multi-country ERP environments (consulting or shared services is a plus)

• CPA or CFA certification

• Familiarity with Agile or structured project delivery methodologies

• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
