IT Systems Engineer

We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer to our client within streaming.

Start: ASAP

Length: 6 months with possible extension

Locaiton: Must be in Stockholm office 3 days per week (no exceptions)

As an IT Systems Engineer you sit at the intersection of IT Engineering and IT Operations, playing a key role in both building and running the internal IT infrastructure.

Your work spans everything from Identity and Access Management and infrastructure as code to Google Workspace administration and SaaS management. You will own and evolve our SaaS platform ecosystem while also designing and maintaining the underlying systems and automation that keep everything secure, connected, and scalable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Identity & Access Management

• Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions, primarily leveraging Okta

• Develop and enforce access control policies, MFA, and SSO capabilities

• Manage user access, provisioning, and security configurations across platforms 

• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
  
  Saas Platform Administration

• Own and maintain key SaaS platforms including Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite, and other employee-facing applications

• Manage licensing, software procurement, renewals, and cost optimization

• Handle escalated end-user cases related to software administration, ensuring timely resolution

• Monitor compliance and align platform configurations with security best practices

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Monitor compliance and align platform configurations with security best practices

• Develop and maintain laC templates using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources

• Implement automation and scripting (e.g. Python, GAM, Bash, API integrations) to streamline system administration and repetitive tasks

• Automate infrastructure deployments, updates, and integrations between SaaS applications
  
  MDM & Device Management

• Deploy and manage Mobile Device Management solutions to secure and monitor devices across the organization

• Configure and enforce policies for device security and compliance
  
  Collaboration, Documentation & Support

• Translate business needs into technical solutions, working closely with IT Support and Enterprise Security

• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance

• Support routine system backups and disaster recovery

Competence Requirements

• Strong background in IAM principles, access control, user provisioning, and SSO — with hands-on Okta experience

• Proven experience administering Google Workspace and Atlassian Suite in an enterprise environment

• Experience with SaaS application administration, licensing management, and procurement

• Proficiency with scripting and command-line tools such as Python, GAM, PowerShell, or Bash

• Familiarity with automation and API integrations to optimize workflows

• Excellent communication skills — able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Bonus experience:

• Terraform or other infrastructure as code tooling

• MDM platforms (e.g. Kandji) and device security management

• Networking fundamentals — firewalls, VPNs, network architecture
