IT Senior Automation Tester

Model of work: hybrid (2 days work from office, based in Gdańsk/ Gdynia/ Warsaw)

Type of contract: B2B contract, long-term cooperation

Rate: max 140 PLN net + vat per hour

Languages: very good English is required (daily work in international environment)

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester to take ownership and scale automated test suites in a C#/.NET 8 environment. The ideal candidate will possess robust knowledge in automation testing, demonstrating a blend of automation and manual testing skills.

Main Responsibilities:

• Own and scale automated testing frameworks.

• Design and implement test automation scripts using C# and .NET 8.

• Optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.

• Perform UI automation with tools like Playwright/Selenium.

• Conduct API automation tests with HttpClient/RestSharp.

• Engage in failure diagnostics and debugging processes.

• Prepare and maintain test pipelines in Bitbucket/Bamboo.

• Participate actively in code reviews focusing on testing code.

• Support manual testing efforts as required.

Key Requirements:

• Strong C# (modern features) and .NET 8 experience.

• Proficiency with test frameworks such as NUnit.

• Experience in UI automation using Playwright/Selenium and Page Object Model.

• API automation skills with HttpClient / RestSharp.

• Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Specflow.

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes, particularly with Bitbucket/Bamboo.

• Fluent Git knowledge and experience with code review practices.

• Ability to diagnose failures and perform debugging.

• Willingness to adapt to manual testing as per project needs.

Nice to Have

• Experience using GitHub Copilot.

• 5+ years of experience in automation on .NET stacks.
