Introduction & Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Developer in the role of an IT Operations Enginner to support a highly available application delivering data to multiple downstream systems. The candidate must possess a robust development background and expertise in Oracle DB, SQL/stored procedures, ETL processes, and operational automation.

Main Responsibilities:

As an IT Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our data provider application. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Provide end-to-end operational support for a highly available data provider application.

• Design, implement, and improve automation solutions to streamline daily operational tasks.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues using a systematic approach.

• Collaborate closely with developers and demonstrate experience with DevOps practices.

• Take full ownership of the operational aspects of the application, ensuring reliability, stability, and performance.

Key Requirements:

• Strong sense of responsibility for end-to-end operations.

• Proven hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL/stored procedures, and ETL processes (preferably IBM DataStage).

• Experience working with development teams, familiar with DevOps methodologies.

• Solid understanding of IT operational management processes and tools, including incident handling and SLAs.

• Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns and develop automated solutions for operations.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in partnership with development teams.

• Familiarity with additional operational tools and frameworks.
