Intelligent Operations, Smart Mobility & Transportation Consultant

Summary: The role aims to lead the digital mobility and transportation strategy for the Expo 2030 initiative in Riyadh, ensuring efficient and safe movement of individuals and goods through smart transportation systems.

Responsibilities:

• Define the smart mobility vision aligned with Riyadh’s mobility ecosystem.

• Develop a technology strategy for traffic management and public transport integration.

• Lead intelligent transportation system planning for congestion management.

• Design capabilities for real-time transit tracking and passenger information.

• Define smart parking strategies that include monitoring and reservations.

• Develop crowd mobility monitoring to enhance safety and experiences.

• Assess future mobility technologies like autonomous shuttles.

• Evaluate the vendor landscape for transportation technologies.

• Support procurement strategies and vendor evaluations.

Must Haves:

• Prior Expo or mega-event experience (World Expo, Olympics, etc.)

• Strong experience in mobility planning and intelligent transport operations.

• Proven background in mobility and transportation technology strategy.

• Knowledge of ITS, smart parking, and mobility analytics.

• Experience with city authorities and public event mobility programs.

Nice to Haves:

• Familiarity with future mobility platforms.

• Professional connections within the transportation technology sector.

• Experience with large-scale event logistics.

• Understanding of integrated mobility technologies.
