IAM Architect (Entra ID)

We're supporting a leading international organisation in the financial services sector as they modernise their enterprise identity platform. This is a unique opportunity to lead the architecture of a large-scale migration from ADFS to Microsoft Entra ID, helping to build a secure, scalable and future-ready identity environment used across a complex global technology landscape.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Entra ID Architect, you'll own the architectural direction for a strategic identity transformation programme. Working alongside IAM, Security, Infrastructure, Application and Enterprise Architecture teams, you'll define the roadmap for a secure and seamless migration to Microsoft Entra ID.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the architecture and design of the migration from ADFS to Microsoft Entra ID

• Defining target identity architecture and migration strategy

• Establishing application integration patterns and authentication approaches

• Designing security guardrails, governance and operational models

• Providing architectural guidance throughout the migration lifecycle

• Collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to ensure a secure, compliant and low-risk transition

• Supporting operational readiness and knowledge transfer for long-term platform success

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Entra ID and Identity & Access Management (IAM)

• Proven experience designing and delivering ADFS to Microsoft Entra ID migration programmes

• Strong understanding of authentication and federation technologies including:

  • SAML

  • OAuth 2.0

  • OpenID Connect

• Experience defining enterprise identity architecture and security controls

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments

• Role: Entra ID Architect

• Location: Remote within the EU

• Start: ASAP

• Contract: Until 31 December 2026, with strong extension potential
