Due to continued growth, we are currently hiring for a technically strong and solution-focused Google Workspace & Data Consultant to join our client in Dublin. Our consultancy specializes in providing business and technology services to clients in all sectors.

You will play a role in migrating legacy Excel files with macros into fully functional Google Sheets powered by Apps Script, while also designing automated reports and workflows. 

A snapshot of your key responsibilities:

·       Review and analyze existing Excel spreadsheets (including VBA/macros) and propose equivalent Google Sheets solutions.

·       Write and maintain custom scripts with Google Apps Script to automate workflows in Google Sheets.

·       Build dynamic dashboards and reporting tools using Google Sheets and connected Google Workspace apps.

·       Migrate data and business logic from Excel to Google Sheets ensuring accuracy and performance.

·       Provide guidance on best practices for Google Workspace adoption/automation.

·       Document solutions, workflows, and maintain scripts for long-term sustainability.

·       Automate the generation of reports and dashboards within Google Sheets.

·       Collaborate with teams to understand and address automation needs.

Requirements:

·       Advanced skills in Excel, including VBA macros and formula-heavy spreadsheets.

·       Excel to Google Sheets Migration: Can convert complex Excel files (including VBA macros) into Google Sheets with Apps Script.

·       Data migration or ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) experience is highly valuable. Understanding of data pipelines, quality, and schemas.

·       Google Workspace Power User: Knowledge of Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms, Drive, etc.

·       Google Apps Script Developer: Intermediate to Senior in Google Apps Script development, comfortable writing code, working with APIs (HtmlService, BigQuery Jobs, DriveApp), and understanding client-server communication, not just a Sheets power user. Automate reports and dashboards in Google Sheets.

·       Strong communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical users.

·       Experience with enterprise migrations from Microsoft to Google Workspace is a plus.

Opportunity type: 3-month contract (possibility of extension), Hybrid in Tallaght, Dublin
