GIS Specialist (mid or senior level)

emagine is looking for a GIS specialist to our client. We are interested in both mid-level and senior candidates. 

Start: ASAP

Length: 30th of June with possible extension

Location: Preferably Uppsala but Stockholm is a possible alternative. Must be on-site minimum 2-3 days per week in the client’s office

Scope: 60-100 %

The GIS consultant will play an important role in pan-nordic GIS team supporting all areas of the business with GIS capabilities.

The GIS consultant will support this effort by:

• Developing robust spatial data workflows using ArcGIS, FME and databases.

• Enabling automated ETL processes to ensure that data from multiple sources is cleaned, standardized and integrated into a unified system.

• Facilitating spatial database management and GIS-enabled calculations to improve cost modelling and asset planning.

• Supporting analytical and reporting requirements through GIS-based insights.

This role requires strong technical expertise in ArcGIS, FME, data automation and database management. Knowledge in python is an advantage. Telco knowledge is desired but not necessary.

The ideal candidate is one that not only has the relevant technical experience but that also has the required attitude. We are looking for a self-driving person who can work independently on tasks

but also is a good collaborator. As we serve many parts of the business, it’s important to have good stakeholder management and communication skills.
