Game Content Evaluator/Moderator of new game maps in Minecraft

We are looking for a Content Evaluator/Moderator who will be evaluating and moderating new Minecraft Maps. Easily said, you need to be a Minecraft player to suceed in this position.

Start: ASAP

Length: 18 months

Location: Must be on-site in Stockholm 3 days per week

Role Overview 

The Content Moderator plays a pivotal role in the Java Creators program as they are chiefly responsible for reviewing new map submissions, feedback to creators, and working closely with them to refine and improve their maps. Furthermore, the Content Moderator plays an important role in building and supporting the Java Creators Program, both in daily communication on slack and live on monthly meetings. 
 

Responsibilities 

• Review new/updated map submissions to ensure they follow our guidelines, best practices and quality standards.  

• Test and validate map functionality, test edge-cases and suggest improvements to creators.  

• Feedback to Creators and help them develop and reach our quality goals. 

• Build reports with the community and be a go-to individual for questions regarding the program, our releases and map submissions.  

• Facilitate content releases and ensure the quality of maps being published. 
  

Requirements 

• Deep understanding of Minecraft, its features and Gameplay loops 

• Experience in community management and the drive to engage with both individuals and teams of creators daily.  

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. 
  

Desirable Experience 

• Experience of quality assurance or software testing. 

• Background or good understanding of Game and/or Level Design.
