Functional Tester (Backend)

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Industry: banking/IT
• Location: hybrid (visit the Warsaw office 2 times per month)
• Remuneration: up to 120 pln/h, B2B
• Project language: Polish & English
• Start: ASAP

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications and collaborating with business analysts/product owner,
• Identify test cases from Software Requirements and/or Use Cases,
• Create and execute manual test cases to ensure compliance with specifications and documentation provided,
• Functional and E2E test scripts dry-runs, peer reviews and execution,
• Defects identification, reporting, management,
• Backend and Frontend testing including API, database and Salesforce,
• Support of the team in automated tests execution and updates.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in backend testing skills: REST API, SQL,
• Experience in FE testing,
• Being proficient in Functional, E2E and UAT testing and test processes as a part of SDLC and STLC,
• Over 2 years of experience working as Software Tester,
• Experience of working with Salesforce,
• Knowledge of different testing phases and types: Integration, UAT, E2E, functional,
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred),
• Ability to communicate in English on a day-to-day basis in speaking and writing,
• Problem solving skills and having ability to work under pressure,
• Being a team player but also able to work independently using your initiative,
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Finance /Banking experience,
• Background in Automation testing,
• General knowledge of some programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python),
• Familiarity with Robot Framework,
• ISTQB Certification.
