Functional Tester - Backend

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Industry: Banking/IT
• Location: hybrid (visit the Warsaw office 2/month)
• Remuneration: up to 120 PLN/h
• Project language: Polish & English
• Start: ASAP

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications and collaborating with business analysts / product owner;
• Identify test cases from Software Requirements and/or Use Cases;
• Create and execute manual test cases to ensure compliance with specifications and documentation provided;
• Functional and E2E test scripts dry-runs, peer reviews and execution;
• Defects identification, reporting, management;
• Backend and Frontend testing including API, database and Salesforce;
• Support of the team in automated tests execution and updates.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong backend testing skills: SOAP, REST API, SQL;
• Being proficient in Functional, E2E and UAT testing and test processes as a part of SDLC and STLC;
• Over 4 years of experience working as Software Tester;
• Knowledge of different testing phases and types: Integration, UAT, E2E, functional;
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred);
• Ability to communicate in both Polish and English on a day-to-day basis in speaking and writing;
• Problem solving skills and having ability to work under pressure;
• Being a team player but also able to work independently using your initiative;
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines;

NICE TO HAVE:

• Finance /Banking experience;
• Background in Automation testing;
• General knowledge of some programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python);
• Familiarity with Robot Framework;
• ISTQB Certification;
• Experience in Salesforce testing;
• Advanced Excel skills.
