Fullstack AI Engineer (Node, Typescript)

Assignment:We are looking for a mid-to-senior AI engineer consultant to work hands-on in an existing codebase and extend the capabilities of an AI agent platform. The role involves building integrations, expanding tool access, and enabling the agent to interact with additional data sources and services.

You will collaborate closely with product and research teams while independently driving technical implementation and problem-solving.

Main Responsibilities

• Extend and improve an existing AI agent architecture

• Build and integrate MCPs, APIs, and data connectors enabling the agent to interact with new data sources and tools

• Debug and improve agent behaviour, orchestration, and reliability

• Implement integrations end-to-end, from design to deployment

• Work closely with product and domain experts to enable new AI-driven capabilities

Key Requirements

• Mid-to-senior software engineer with strong problem-solving ability

• Experience working with LLMs and AI/agent-based architectures

• Strong API development and integration experience

• Hands-on experience with Node.js and React (but more backend heavy)

• Comfortable working independently in complex codebases

• Experience building data integrations and external connectors

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with cloud services and deployment pipelines

• Understanding of machine learning concepts

• Experience working in an Agile environment

This is a 6-month consultant contract starting ASAP. The role is to be performed onsite in Stockholm.
