Location: Finland, Helsinki (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Detailed description of work task to be carried out

 ·       Working with business users to develop the overall look and design of our websites

·        Ensuring that user experience determines design choices.

·        Developing features to enhance the user experience.

·        Ensuring web design is optimized for multiple platforms - laptops and smartphones

·        Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.

·        Building reusable code for future use.

·        Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability

·        Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.

·        Maintaining Nordea Finance brand consistency throughout design

Must-have knowledge and experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Front-End Developer

• Must have high competence with Angular framework

• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.

• Understanding of server-side CSS/SCSS.

• Understanding of key design principles.

• Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator.

• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.

• Understanding of SEO principles.

• Good problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable way

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to take responsibility

• Goal-oriented with a proven track record of delivering results
