Role: Finance Business Partner - B2C Finland
Description Summary:
The Finance Business Partner will take full ownership of business finance within the B2C Group for Finland, acting as a co-pilot to the Country Head. This role will encompass providing commercial finance insights, driving performance, ensuring aligned reporting to Group standards, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage the country P&L, lead monthly close, explain variances, and propose corrective actions.
Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts; ensure alignment with Group targets.
Serve as the primary finance advisor to the Country Head and senior operations leaders; translate financial data into commercial actions.
Deliver accurate management and statutory reports to Group and local stakeholders, ensuring tax and regulatory compliance.
Develop business cases, scenario models, and ROI analyses for investments, pricing, and expansion decisions.
Monitor cash flow, drive working capital improvements, and oversee capital expenditure governance.
Define and track KPIs; lead monthly business reviews and follow up on improvement plans.
Enhance finance processes and controls; ensure data integrity within ERP/reporting tools.
Collaborate with Group B2C Finance, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Audit, HR, and local operational teams.
Key Requirements:
Proven finance background with a formal accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA) considered advantageous, though equivalent practical experience is highly valued.
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in P&L ownership, budgeting, rolling forecasting, monthly close analysis, and management reporting in a group environment.
Technical proficiency in advanced Excel modeling, FI/FA tools/ERP, and familiarity with BI/reporting tools.
Strong commercial mindset, capable of translating financial insights into actionable commercial strategies.
Excellent stakeholder and influencing skills; reliable business partner to country leadership and capable of presenting to senior stakeholders.
Focus on accuracy, timeliness, controls, and process improvements; pragmatic and hands-on approach when needed.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Treasury/cash management, tax/compliance, M&A, or systems implementation.
Industry knowledge of the telecommunications, SaaS, or retail sectors.
Other Details:
This role is expected to commence on a six-month contract basis, with potential opportunities for extension based on performance and business needs.
