Expert/Senior Java Developer

Summary:

The primary objective of this role is to lead the migration of a mid-scale Java project to a modern, cloud-based environment, ensuring a smooth transition from the legacy technology stack. .

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of Java projects from Oracle JDK7 and WebLogic 10 to new cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with an international team, including stakeholders from the Nordics and India.
• Provide support in configuring and troubleshooting applications in Oracle WebLogic.
• Implement testing strategies using a wide variety of tools and techniques.

Key Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Java, with an emphasis on differences between Oracle JDK7 and OpenJDK (versions 8 and 17).
• Experience in migrating mid-scale Java projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Oracle WebLogic applications.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with cloud environments and modern application architectures.
• Experience with various testing tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
