Expert Java Developer

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Work model: remote (3/weekn in Gdańsk)

• Remuneration: 160 PLN/h netto + VAT (B2B)

Summary: This position is focused on providing expert Java development within Nordea Bank, supporting the KYC processes and enhancing integration with modern technology platforms. The main objective is to develop scalable microservices that meet business requirements while ensuring code quality and maintainability.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications in alignment with microservices architecture.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features.

• Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code adhering to industry best practices.

• Participate in the agile development process, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.

• Document APIs and ensure that all system documentation is up to date.

Key Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in modern Java features (e.g., records, pattern matching, virtual threads).

• Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MsSQL).

• Experience in microservices architecture.

• Proficient in Docker for application containerization.

• Understanding of agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools.

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

• Experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
