Experienced DWH Developer with Strong Data Vault 2.0 experience

We are on behalf of one of our clients looking for an experienced DWH developer to join our Enterprise Data Warehousing team. We are currently working on a new data warehouse to make our analytical capabilities scale with our increasing data volumes and reporting demands.

You will join the data onboarding team in Gurugram office, responsible for analyzing data sources, designing data models, and loading data through different layers of the data warehouse.

Main Responsibilities

You will assist the team with our current primary focus of onboarding data to cloud-native DWH (Snowflake) and decommissioning the on-prem DWH. It includes the following tasks on a high level:

• Analyze source data (Azure data lake) and derive insights sufficient enough to define an optimal data model.

• Design RAW & business vault layer using Data Vault 2.0 modelling approach.

• Design Datamat layer using dimensional modelling approach.

• Source data from ADL and load it through different layers using Airflow dags.

• Ensure solid code quality and efficient data loading performance.

Key Requirements

To be successful in your role, you MUST have:

• 5+ years of experience with Data Warehousing.

• Extensive development experience on Snowflake and understanding of the platform.

• Strong experience in Data Vault 2.0 modelling.

• Experience in creating Airflow dags and intermediate level knowledge of Python.

• A team player and able to effectively communicate with peers and stakeholders.

• +8 years of experience as a Data Warehousing developer.

• Fluent in English and Dutch

Nice to Have

• Working experience with a cloud platform (preferably Azure).

• Experience with C# programming.

• Previous experience working in the financial industry.

This position is based in a dynamic environment and focuses on enhancing our data warehousing capabilities as we transition to a cloud-native solution.Location: Amsterdam (4 days onsite and 1 day remote)

End date: 4-6 months + option for extension
