ETL Developer

Summary

The ETL Developer plays a crucial role in managing data integrity and extraction processes within the organization. This position is primarily focused on developing and maintaining ETL solutions using various database technologies, enhancing data processing and enabling data-driven decision-making.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support Data Warehouse solutions using Oracle PL/SQL, Informatica, Python, and shell scripting.

• Analyze data using SQL and ensure adherence to relational database management principles.

• Implement technical solutions in collaboration with onshore counterparts and business analysts.

• Provide production support by managing and resolving issues as they arise.

• Deliver timely communication and notifications regarding project updates to stakeholders.

• Coordinate testing and production releases with other teams.

• Continuously monitor system performance and identify opportunities for technical enhancements.

• Document all tasks and processes clearly for ongoing support and improvements.

Key Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in ETL development and data warehousing.

• Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Informatica PowerCenter.

• Proficiency in Python programming for automation.

• Experience in developing and maintaining relational databases and data warehousing solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Business Objects.

• Experience in the financial services or leasing domain.
