ETL Developer

• Job Description Summary:
  We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer/Consultant specializing in Informatica Cloud and Informatica PowerCenter, particularly within the Data Integration and Application Integration modules of the IDMC platform. The primary objective is to facilitate the migration from Informatica PowerCenter to the Informatica Cloud solution, requiring high-level expertise in both platforms. The successful candidate will actively engage in promoting our team’s knowledge in decision-making solutions and adopt a proactive stance during the design phase of the project, ensuring effective collaboration with stakeholders. Experience in BI modeling and navigating complex data integration issues will be vital to this role.

Main Responsibilities:
The ETL Developer will participate across various stages of the migration project offering invaluable contributions, including:

• Facilitating and participating in Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Meeting, Grooming, Retrospective)
• Working autonomously on the migration project from PowerCenter to IDMC
• Utilizing expertise in the IDMC tool
• Analyzing new business needs and estimating complexity
• Designing and implementing new ETL solutions using Informatica Cloud Data Integration
• Coordinating with operations for establishing new data transfer flows with partners
• Creating technical documentation (using Confluence)
• Monitoring production incidents and communicating with stakeholders

Key Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience in ETL development
• Extensive expertise in Informatica Cloud and PowerCenter
• Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase ASE
• Familiarity with CTRLM and Jira
• Solid understanding of Unix

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cross-functional BI and ETL teams
• Knowledge of data supply chain management
• Skills in BI-oriented database modeling
