The DevOps Engineer will play a key role in delivering and optimizing technical services to ensure efficient application deployment, monitoring, and maintenance, with a focus on enhancing the performance and reliability of web applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support for web application hosting and delivery.

• Monitor and optimize JVM applications.

• Implement observability concepts using OpenTelemetry.

• Design and implement Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CDK.

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

• Manage Docker deployments and orchestration through OpenShift or Kubernetes.

• Handle software release management and deployments.

• Conduct performance optimization using AWS tools.

• Review and manage DevOps backlog in Jira.

• Provide technical solutions and support to fellow engineers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CDK).

• Proficient in setting up CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

• Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with JVM application monitoring and optimization.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Knowledge of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager).

• Familiarity with Opentelemetry.

• Basic knowledge of Typescript.

• Experience with agile working methods, particularly Scrum.

• Exposure to performance optimization tools (e.g., AWS Lambda Insights, RDS Performance Insights).
