Developer – Microsoft Power Platform & Dynamics 365
We are seeking a consultant to support ongoing and upcoming projects leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative solutions team alongside a Senior Solutions Developer to deliver high-quality, scalable business solutions. This role sits within the ICT Project Solutions function and reports to the Head of IT, working closely with senior technical staff, business analysts, and internal business stakeholders.
This contract is initial a 4 months with a view for further extension. The client work under a hybrid model and work 2days onsite 3 from home.
Upcoming initiatives will involve enhancements, feature development, and new solution design across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including:
Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service, Sales, Marketing)
Power Apps (Model-Driven and Canvas)
Power Automate
Dataverse
Azure-integrated components where applicable
Design and implement bespoke business processes using Dataverse tables, business rules, workflows, automations, and validation logic.
Configure and customise Power Platform user interfaces, including page layouts, theming, form logic, custom controls, and optimised user journeys.
Build automation flows using Power Automate, integrating multiple data sources as required.
Contribute to the development of model-driven apps and canvas apps.
Customise Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing modules, including forms, views, dashboards, and customer journeys.
Support the configuration of customer-facing experiences, including client account sign-on processes.
Work with security roles, environment strategies, and application lifecycle management (ALM).
2–4 years’ experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
Proficiency with Liquid templating for Power Pages and Dynamics 365 environments, including dynamic data rendering and conditional logic.
Strong understanding of HTML and CSS for front-end customisation and user experience enhancements.
Working knowledge of C# and JavaScript for extending Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions (plug-ins, custom workflows, integrations).
Hands-on experience configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing applications.
Familiarity with solution management, ALM practices, and environment strategies within the Power Platform ecosystem.
Experience with Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management).
Exposure to authentication and identity solutions, including client account sign-on, B2C, and OAuth flows.
Familiarity with DevOps pipelines for the Power Platform.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
The Solutions Developer will be expected to deliver:
Configured Dynamics 365 CRM components (forms, fields, processes, dashboards).
Power Apps with a consistent look and feel and optimised user experience.
Automated workflows and system integrations.
Technical documentation, testing evidence, and deployment artefacts.
Contributions to client account sign-on minimum viable product (MVP).
