Data Warehouse/ ETL Consultant

We are seeking a full-time Data Warehouse resource to join our team in Penang.

The ideal candidate will have robust experience in data modeling, ETL development, data governance, and performance tuning, with a strong understanding of business intelligence tools and methodologies.

Profile Overview:

• Data Modeling and Design (30%): Designing and creating data models that facilitate efficient querying and reporting.

• ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Development (25%): Building and maintaining ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it, and load it into the data warehouse.

• Report and Dashboard Development (20%): Creating interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business users.

• Performance Tuning and Optimization (15%): Ensuring BI systems perform efficiently.

• Data Governance and Security (10%): Implementing data governance policies and ensuring data security.

Key Requirements:

• Technical Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, BI tools, and database management systems.

• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries using MS SQL/Postgres SQL (Table, View, Functions, Stored procedure).

• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

• ETL Development experience in Azure Data Factory, MS SSIS, MS SQL Agents, and MS Database.

• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture, specifically Ralph Kimball methodologies.

• Skills in performance optimization and query fine-tuning.
