Summary

The Data Scientist role aims to significantly impact by implementing advanced AI solutions in the Product Supply domain. The position is crucial for the management of the entire product life cycle, enhancing data-driven decision-making in a collaborative international team.

Main Responsibilities

Core duties in this role involve the enhancement of data science solutions and the development of machine learning models.

• Strengthens, maintains, and improves Data Science solutions for optimal performance.

• Develops machine learning, simulation, and forecasting models to provide actionable insights.

• Extracts information from large datasets to identify key influencing variables.

• Builds prototypes to validate modeling concepts.

• Industrializes and scales analytics prototypes into operational IT products.

• Creates interactive data visualizations and dashboards for diverse stakeholders.

• Develops frameworks and libraries for repetitive data science tasks.

• Engages in exploratory projects to investigate new data and analytical techniques.

• Constructs data processing pipelines and analyzes data for modeling.

• Manages GitHub code repositories and conducts peer code reviews.

• Encourages continuous learning within the data science team through workshops.

• Presents data-driven insights to enhance business strategies.

• Advises on best practices and emerging technologies in data science.

Key Requirements

• Master’s or PhD with 3+ years in Data Science or related fields.

• Strong background in Machine Learning, Operations Research, or related disciplines.

• Proficiency in Python and its data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.).

• Experience in machine learning, simulations, and forecasting.

• Knowledge of data science tools, frameworks, and cloud platforms (SQL, Spark, Azure, etc.).

• Ability to write production-grade, object-oriented code.

• Proficient in writing various tests for Python applications.

• Experience in conducting user experience and model performance evaluations.

• Capability to document developed products effectively.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

• Experience with advanced analytics product development in cloud environments.

• Knowledge of emerging data science technologies.
