Data Scientist
Job Description
We are looking for a Data Scientist to work on projects focused on developing predictive models for treatment outcomes in clinical trials. You will work with harmonized data from multiple RCTs, building and validating machine learning models, with direct impact on future trial design and clinical decision-making.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop predictive models for treatment outcomes.
Build and validate machine learning models using clinical trial data.
Analyze harmonized data from multiple RCTs.
Support trial design and clinical decision-making through data insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven approaches.
Key Requirements:
Experience working with healthcare data (clinical trials or RWE), including familiarity with standard data structures and common data quality challenges.
Strong foundation in both statistical modeling and machine learning approaches (e.g., regression, classification, regularization, ensemble methods).
Understanding of RCT methodology, causal inference, and treatment effect estimation.
Experience working with longitudinal and time-series data, including handling of missing data and irregular observation schedules.
Proficiency in Python and/or R and experience working in cloud-based data platforms.
Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex analytical findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
A PhD with 1+ year of relevant experience or a Master's with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Prior experience in pharmaceutical drug development, health economics, or related life sciences fields.
Nice to Have:
Experience building interactive dashboards and data visualization tools (e.g., R Shiny).
