Data Engineer

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Location: 100% remote 
• Project language: Polish, English
• Remuneration: up to about 190 PLN/h (depending on experience)
• Project duration: long-term cooperation

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As a Data Engineer you would deliver services to a DevOps scrum team developing solutions based on the Microsoft Azure technology stack.
• Daily collaboration with colleagues from various departments.
• Conducting dialogue with experts and other data engineers to build, maintain and optimise state of the art analytics solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 8 years working experience with Analytics & BI tools and preferably services in the Microsoft Azure stack.
• A strong technical background with an understanding of how analytics solutions are brought into life.
• Experience in designing and building ETL/ETL tracks.
• Experience in building and maintaining APIs.
• Experience with Data Warehousing & Data Modelling concepts.
• Knowledge of Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Knowledge of SQL and Power BI (Frontend and Backend).
• Ability to model data using star schemas.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD.
• Experience with agile way of working (Scum, Kanban, DevOps).
• Fluent in English (international team).
• A Master of Science degree is an advantage.
