Data Engineer for Business Analytics Developments X 2

emagine is looking for 2 Senior Data Engineers for our great client within the constsuction Industry to join their Business Analytics team. You will support the design, development, and management of data pipelines that enable analytical insights and data-driven decision-making.

The consultants will play a key role in building a robust data foundation in line with defined target architecture and design principles, working closely with stakeholders across analytics and IT.

Start: 2026-02-02

End: 2026-06-30 (extension possible), min 2 days/week at the office

Location: Stockholm

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

• Understanding and applying the target architecture and design guidelines for the Business Analytics data foundation.

• Exploring, designing, building, testing, and deploying data ingestion pipelines, transformations, and analytical data models.

• Ensuring solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements (e.g. performance, scalability, quality).

• Working with stakeholders to specify requirements for data deliveries and analytical data models.

• Documenting all deliveries in accordance with established documentation policies.

• Contributing to continuous improvement of data engineering practices and ways of working.

Required Competencies & Experience (Must Have)

• Senior-level experience in building and managing data pipelines in a cloud environment.

• Senior-level experience with DBT.

• Senior-level experience in data modelling.

• Strong hands-on experience in SQL and Python.

• Practical experience working with Databricks.

• Fluent in English and Swedish, spoken and written.

Meritorious Experience (Nice to Have)

• Experience in IT or Data Architecture.

• Experience with report development in Power BI.

• Experience working in agile teams and agile delivery environments.
