Data Engineer (Banking/Mainframe)

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong experience in legacy enterprise environments (DB2, Mainframe, Linux, Oracle) to join a large-scale data integration team within the financial services sector.

End date: 2027-06-30

Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

About the assignment:

The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing ETL solutions and data integrations in a complex environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and operations teams to ensure reliable and efficient data flows across multiple systems and platforms.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter

• Solid experience with SQL development

• Experience working with Oracle and DB2 databases

• Good knowledge of Linux

• Experience with Informatica PowerExchange

• Experience from working with Google Cloud Platform

• Fluency in English
  

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with regulatory reporting and compliance-related data processes, such as FATCA, CRS, Basel II/III, or other banking regulatory frameworks is highly advantageous.

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery.

Experience with Tableau, OPC / Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS), Mainframe environments, and production support or operational activities is considered a strong advantage.
