Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a short-term engagement of approximately 9 months. This role is ideal for a mid–senior professional with 4+ years of experience who is comfortable working in fast-paced, start-up–like environments.

The project involves developing APIs for one of the healthcare start-ups recently acquired by PMI, supporting data availability and integration across systems, with a strong collaboration with teams based in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain APIs and endpoint connections

• Ensure data availability, accessibility, and reliability across systems

• Develop and manage data pipelines to support business and technical needs

• Collaborate closely with US-based stakeholders and teams, enabling fast and effective integrations

• Take full ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and deliverables

• Contribute to technical discussions and propose improvements to data solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role

• Strong proficiency in Python

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services

• Experience with Dataflow and data pipeline orchestration

• Solid understanding of API development and data integration

• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a short-term engagement

Nice to Have

• Experience in the healthcare sector

• Previous work in start-up or fast-growing environments

• Exposure to cross-border or US-based teams
