Cyber Security Consultant - Encryption & Key Management

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Industry: Banking

• Work model: hybrid (3/week in Warsaw)

• Remuneration: up to 200 PLN/h netto + VAT (B2B)

Summary: This role focuses on ensuring that the encryption and key management practices comply with both internal and external regulatory standards. The primary goal is to enhance security posture against evolving cryptographic threats, particularly in light of Post Quantum cryptography.

Main Responsibilities:

• Research, evaluate, and recommend updates to existing policies and procedures for encryption and key management.

• Manage the assessment of the current and future encryption landscape, focusing on Post Quantum threats.

• Design and document relevant cryptographic controls, supporting the development of tools for monitoring compliance.

• Operationalize the inventory and risk assessment program related to cryptographic keys to achieve defined business objectives.

Key Requirements:

• Expert-level knowledge of Encryption and Key Management.

• Practical experience implementing cryptography in complex business contexts.

• Proven track record in Information Security with a focus on cryptographic standards and processes.

• In-depth understanding of banking regulations related to cryptography (e.g., PCI DSS, NIST, GDPR).

Nice to Have:

• Experience in an international enterprise work environment.

• Documented achievements in IT Security.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
