Location: Warsaw/Łódź/Tricity - hybrid (3x per week visit Client office)
About the Role
We are looking for Compliance Testing Consultants to join Client’s Group Compliance organization. In this role, you will participate in compliance reviews within the areas of Financial Crime Prevention, Anti‑Money Laundering (AML), and Counter‑Terrorist Financing (CTF).
This position focuses on process and control testing, not IT/software testing. Your primary responsibility will be to assess whether AML/CTF controls are designed and operating effectively, evaluate risk management practices, and document your findings in accordance with the Compliance Testing & Monitoring methodology.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver testing and monitoring activities in alignment with the Annual Testing & Monitoring Plan.
Assess compliance risk management practices across various business areas within Nordea.
Evaluate the design and effectiveness of AML/CTF processes and controls (Control Effectiveness).
Conduct Outcome Validation by reviewing KYC/CDD documentation and verifying the accuracy of first‑line decisions.
Document testing results in workpapers and prepare reports following the Compliance Testing & Monitoring methodology.
Validate observations with key stakeholders to ensure factual accuracy.
Provide timely reporting of testing progress and updates.
Support Quality Assurance activities.
Cooperate with Compliance Officers and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
Proven experience in:
compliance monitoring/testing,
financial crime/AML processes,
internal audit or control testing.
Ability to independently plan, execute, and document end‑to‑end compliance testing.
Strong understanding of risk management practices and control frameworks.
Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with frequent changes and tight deadlines.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience working with Nordic financial institutions.
Knowledge of regulatory expectations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, or Finland.
Understanding of local FSA guidelines and regional compliance standards.
