Collibra Data Quality Product Owner

Summary: This role focuses on enhancing data quality within the organization by designing and implementing Collibra Data Quality scorecards and enabling internal teams for long-term ownership of the data quality processes.Main Responsibilities:This role involves the design and execution of comprehensive data quality initiatives through the Collibra platform.

• Design and Implement Data Quality Scorecards

• Design and develop Collibra Data Quality scorecards.

• Implement data profiling, business rules, thresholds, and quality metrics.

• Ensure scorecards support monitoring and continuous improvement of data quality across domains.

• Implemented Collibra DQ scorecards including defined data rules, thresholds, quality metrics, and documentation.

• Enable Internal Teams

• Facilitate workshops and hands-on sessions for business and technical users.

• Guide data owners and data stewards in understanding how scorecards function and how to maintain or extend them.

• Support knowledge transfer through documentation, guidelines, and structured handover activities.

• Training sessions, documentation, and operational guidelines enabling internal teams to manage and extend scorecards independently.

• Act as Product Owner for the Collibra DQ scorecard capability.

• Support backlog prioritization and alignment with stakeholders.

• Contribute to roadmap planning and value realization for the Data Quality platform.Perform cost estimation and price modelling for development, onboarding, and operational usage.

• Backlog management, prioritization support, and documented cost and pricing models related to the DQ capability.

• Support selected platform-related tasks such as configuration, access handling, or troubleshooting when needed.

• Contribute to platform governance, best practices, and architectural decision support.

The consultant will not be responsible for:

• Long-term operational ownership of the Collibra platform infrastructure.

• Ownership of operational data domains or business data governance decisions.

• Development of business dashboards or analytics solutions outside the scope of data quality scorecards.

• Required Technical Competence

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience designing or implementing Collibra Data Quality scorecards.

• Strong understanding of data profiling, data quality rules, thresholds, and quality metrics.

• Experience working with data governance frameworks and data stewardship processes.

• Experience onboarding, training, and enabling business users and technical stakeholders.

• Experience acting in a Product Owner role or similar leadership function, including backlog prioritization and stakeholder alignment.

• Experience with cost estimation and price modelling related to platform capabilities or services.
