Summary: The primary function of the Business Analyst is to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that user needs are accurately captured and translated into actionable tasks. This role is crucial for maximizing product value through effective communication and backlog management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Understands business needs by engaging with users and stakeholders.
- Turns ideas and problems into clear tasks for the development team.
- Creates and manages the product backlog to keep the project on track.
- Helps plan what should be built next based on value and priorities.
- Collaborates closely with developers, designers, and testers to build the right solution.
- Ensures clear understanding of goals and requirements among all team members.
- Regularly reviews progress and helps improve the product over time.
- Collects feedback and data to inform future updates.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience (7-10 years) in business analysis.
- Proficiency in Scrum methodologies.
- Competence with JIRA for task tracking and backlog management.
- Strong documentation skills using Confluence.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both German and English.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks like ESSENCE or ONE ESSENTIALS.
- Experience with user story mapping and impact mapping techniques.
- Knowledge in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
