Business Analyst

Emagine are now looking for a Business Analyst within IT to one of our amazing banking clients.

Project and role description

As a Business Analyst you will play a key part in their transformation journey when building the future of payment solutions. In this role you will work cross teams to collect and write requirements in tight collaboration with your different stakeholders.

You will work against several teams, as they work cross-functionally. You will get the opportunity to discuss problems and opportunities with over ten other Business Analysts but still be self-governing and plan your own schedule. Your responsibility will be to:

• Take lead, coordinate and drive refinement work.

• Collect, analyze and translate business needs into functional and system requirement specifications.

• Communicate with stakeholders at all different levels (business-/operation experts, product management, architects, development teams, QA, subject matter experts…) to set the requirements and scope.

Requirements:
You have worked as a Business Analyst within IT for at least 15 years in an agile environment and are accustomed to documenting requirements in a structured manner. You are highly driven and likely also have experience as a project manager.

• You have experience in finance, specifically from working within the payments area.

• You have a technical background, technical education, and have worked as a developer or tester.

• You are used to working directly with development teams with a focus on backend, alongside developers/testers.

• You have work experience gathering requirements directly from stakeholders (for example, through workshops).

• You are used to being involved in multiple initiatives/projects simultaneously and working with complex systems and/or large, complex projects, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• You have strong problem-solving skills, are structured, and have excellent attention to detail.

• You are experienced in coordinating and networking, utilizing your communication skills in stakeholder management across multiple areas.

• You are a highly driven individual, enjoy taking initiative, and can define tasks even when they are initially vague.

• You are pragmatic, adaptable, and non-prestigious.

You are fluent in both Swedish and English.

Meritorious:

• It is a plus if you have experience working with requirements in the execution phase of payments.
