ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in reports and dashboards, especially in preparation for audits. Responsibilities include analyzing large datasets to uncover trends and insights relevant to Project DORA, developing automated reporting systems, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet reporting needs. It also involves creating data visualizations to effectively communicate findings, supporting decision-making through actionable insights, and continuously improving data processes and reporting methods.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in regulatory reporting (Basel, BaFin, KNF, GSI, ESMA).
- Excellent analytical, documentation and organization skills.
- Experience in creating and redesigning IT processes and key controls.
- Strong track record of delivering regulatory projects in a large, complex environment, in a global Finance/Insurance or regulated industry (5-7+ years).
- Strong management skills including project management, business analysis, security requirements analysis, financial management, change management and facilitation.
- Excellent project planning, budget, scoping, costing, and scheduling ability
- Board level presentation skills.
- Knowledge of VAIT/DORA regulations and IT security requirements.
- Ability to drive a mixture of functional and geographic workstreams and co-ordinate step change delivery to the business in a unified way.
- Experience in managing distributed teams and able to work in a matrix setup.
- Proactivity, ownership and can-do attitude.
- Proficiency in English (German is a plus).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the business units regarding the development of the target picture by means of (proactive) consulting (including task-related market assessments).
- Focus on data analysis and preparing reports.
- Communicate appropriately at the executive and board level.
- Consider end-to-end tasks (e.g., monitoring scope of implementation projects, participating in change requests).
- Plan specific investments with business units, including dependencies on other programs, and support them with their business cases.
- Participate in monitoring & protocolling of the utilization & availability in accordance with the agreed SLA.
- Consult on how to manage the identification of business demands in terms of quality and scope and identification of the resulting key requirements.
- Consult the business units and advises the business on the use of IT.
