Introduction & Summary

emagine is seeking experienced Business Analysts to support our comprehensive data transformation initiative within the banking sector. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in data analysis and a keen understanding of the banking environment. You will play a critical role in cleansing and standardizing data, correcting industry codes, and contributing to a new database focused on customer and client data.

Main Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across the organization.

• Lead data cleansing and standardization efforts.
• Develop and maintain a new customer and client database.
• Conduct external research to derive entity relationships.
• Perform data reconciliation to generate reports and MI using MS Excel.
• Create process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Manage stakeholders effectively while analyzing reference data.
• Collaborate with a team based in India to ensure project success.
• Utilize basic SQL for data manipulation as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and provide insights.

Key Requirements

• Experience in the banking sector.
• SQL knowledge for creating and running scripts.
• Proficient in Atlassian Confluence.
• Strong skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and formulas.
• Expertise in handling large datasets for reporting.
• Ability to create process documentation and SOPs.
• Good stakeholder management skills with reference data analysis experience.
• Understanding of entity and corporate relationships.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of ETL processes.
• Background in mathematics.
