Summary: The project aims to enhance the scored lending process, focusing on regulatory compliance, specifically meeting PRA requirements, while driving business benefits such as operational efficiency and improved customer experience.
Main Responsibilities:
Act as the primary bridge between Data Engineers, CTO teams, Risk, and Lending stakeholders.
Capture and translate regulatory (PRA) and business requirements into clear, structured artefacts.
Document current-state and target-state lending journeys, highlighting data flows, controls, and decision points.
Support the industrialization of the scored lending process, reducing manual steps and improving consistency.
Define and document data requirements, rules, and dependencies to support scoring, decisioning, and reporting.
Ensure transparency of lending decisions, supporting auditability and regulatory review.
Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately and pragmatically.
Support delivery of measurable business outcomes, including improved turnaround times and reduced operational risk.
Key Requirements:
Strong Business Analyst experience within banking.
Solid understanding of lending journeys, ideally within scored or credit-based lending.
Experience working on regulation-driven initiatives (PRA, regulatory change, supervisory remediation).
Strong process mapping, requirements definition, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to simplify complex regulatory and technical topics into clear, actionable documentation.
Nice to Have:
Experience supporting high-value or complex lending products is desirable.
