As part of this critical initiative, you will be integral in implementing new systems, controls, and ensuring regulatory compliance within the domain of Market Risk.


We’re looking for experienced freelance IT consultants with a strong background in the banking sector. Ideal candidates should possess the necessary skills and attributes to excel in this role.

You will work closely with a diverse team of professionals committed to excellence.


Main Responsibilities:

As a Business Analyst, you will lead the charge in assessing and implementing market risk strategies.

  • Conduct market risk analysis related to FRTB regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and execute controls.
  • Manage acceptance processes for new systems and controls.
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders on project progress.
  • Gather and document requirements from both IT and business teams.
  • Support testing activities including user acceptance testing.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the project.
  • Create and review JIRA tickets to track project scope.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards throughout the project.
  • Provide market risk recommendations based on analysis outcomes.


Key Requirements:

  • Background in banking or financial services.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations such as FRTB, IBOR.
  • Experience in stress testing frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of control design and implementation.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Capability in creating and managing JIRA tasks.


Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Python and testing methodologies.
  • Experience in Market Risk management.
