BIS - Accounts Lead
Summary: The main function of the BIS - Accounts Lead is to oversee the accounts functional stream, ensuring that customer journeys and requirements are accurately defined and documented to improve service efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Define end-to-end customer and servicing journeys for in-scope account products.
Document Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for existing approved scopes such as onboarding, maintenance, servicing, controls, and exception handling.
Lead workshops with various teams (business, operations, compliance, fraud, AML, technology) to validate requirements.
Identify touchpoints with dependent systems such as core banking, channels, CRM, fraud, AML, reporting, and downstream systems.
Clarify business rules, data needs, approval points, and operational handoffs.
Support handover sessions to vendors, explaining process flows, requirements, pain points, and expected outcomes.
Collaborate with support analysts to maintain traceability of requirements, actions, and clarifications.
Aid in UAT preparation by ensuring requirements are testable and clearly documented.
Must Haves:
Strong retail/corporate accounts domain knowledge.
Hands-on experience writing BRDs.
Experience leading requirements workshops.
Understanding of account lifecycle and servicing flows.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with compliance regulations relevant to account handling.
Experience with tools for documenting requirements (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Knowledge of customer relationship management technologies.
