    Online interview

    Role: Application Support

    Location: hybrid, Gdansk : 1-2x/week in the office

    Type of contract: B2B, full-time

    Duration: long-term cooperation

    Remuneration: Up to 140 PLN/h net+vat (B2B)

    DevOps team member supporting application in Application Management.


    Responsibilities:

    • lies within execution of daily end-of-day deliveries, change-, incident- and problem management, improvements of monitoring.
    • on this role, knowledge and experience about Java, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Bash and ITIL are crucial.
    • 2nd line of support for complex applications working closely with developers
    • experience and supporting Java and PL/SQL applications and database concepts.
    • good understanding of complex queries using aggregate and analytical functions
    • good experience with Unix and Windows
    • handling and resolving incidents following Service Level Agreements (SLA)
    • continuous analysis of application and infrastructure performance problems
    • coordination of changes following company standards
    • analysis of application and infrastructure performance problems
    • following and update procedures and documentation according to company templates
    • focus on optimization and automation
    • monitoring systems (incl. job monitoring) and verification of events in IT systems based on alerts.


    Must have:

    • the candidate must have 5+ years’ experience in this role
    • worked as Application Support/ DevOps in Windows and Linux environment
    • knowledge in scripting languages as Bash/ PowerShell
    • experience in working with Docker based application
    • practice in working with Oracle databases
    • basic knowledge of Java
    • good analytical skills, troubleshooting and debugging
    • familiar with Windows/RedHat server systems
    • willingness to participate in on-call duty
    • fluency in English (verbal and written)
    • should be able to work independently with defined problems on an average level within certain areas of expertise.
    • needs to have an independent approach to ongoing tasks, proactive attitude in terms of communicating possible issues, and takes the initiative in relation to relevant solutions.


    Nice to have (not mandatory):

    • knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence)
    • knowledge of Splunk, Grafana and Automic UC4
    • knowledge of banking industry would be an asset
