Application Security Engineer

Work model: hybrid from the office in Warsaw (3 days/week).

Assignment type: B2B.

Project length: 12 months + possibility to extend to 2 years.

About the role: we are seeking an API and Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a secure and scalable API platform. You will develop monitoring tools, improve deployment processes, and support the organization in utilizing API solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining the API platform and application security solutions.
• Developing tools and procedures for monitoring, logging, and improving deployment.
• Preparing documentation and supporting the organization in using the implemented API platform solutions.
• Ensuring scalability and operational stability of IT solutions.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining application security solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with IBM API Management Platform, Linux/Python scripting, OpenShift/Kubernetes/Helm, and CI/CD.
• Background in IT/software engineering.
• Agile development team experience.
• Strong analytical and structured approach to work.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Skills in security tools and technologies (e.g., certificate lifecycle management, secure protocols, encryption).
