Summary: The Application Packaging Specialist will manage the deployment, configuration, and support of applications on workstations and mobile devices. This role is essential for ensuring effective endpoint management and application security within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Application Deployment and Configuration:
  • Develop and implement standardized processes for deploying and configuring applications.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
  • Manage application packaging and updates.
• Application Management and Support:
  • Monitor health and performance of applications.
  • Provide technical support for application issues.
  • Manage application inventory and lifecycle.
• Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Work with UEM specialists for unified management.
  • Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects.
• Security and Compliance:
  • Implement security measures, including whitelisting and patch management.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and conduct security assessments.
• Policy Development and Documentation:
  • Maintain policies and procedures for application management.
  • Document application configurations and processes.
  • Ensure documentation accessibility for stakeholders.
• Training and Awareness:
  • Develop training programs on application best practices.
  • Promote a culture of security awareness.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends.
  • Implement improvements to management processes and tools.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in application management.
• Strong knowledge of application deployment and management tools.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for application security.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune.

Nice to Have:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
• Experience in ITIL or CompTIA A+ standards.
