Application Manager / Technical Specialist

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Application Manager / Technical Specialist to take over the responsibility for the ProMatch application. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and future development of this business-critical system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solve incidents and issues reported by the business (often in collaboration with other technical and business teams).
• Act as the main contact person for external vendors, ensuring regular communication and coordination.
• Participate in status meetings with business stakeholders, providing updates and gathering requirements.
• Deploy new patches and releases (note: releases do not follow standard deployment processes and require manual oversight).
• Run batch tests and deliver comprehensive test reports.
• Support the migration of tools and processes to new technologies (e.g., Nexus to Artifactory).

Requirements:

Mainframe Expertise (Mandatory):

• TSO/MVS
• CICS
• DB2
• FTP
• FileManager
• MQ
• SQL (strong knowledge of querying and managing data in DB2 databases)
• Knowledge of ENDEVOR or willingness to learn (important for future development)

Additional Knowledge (Nice to Have):

• Nexus (to be replaced by Artifactory)
• BitBucket
• Jenkins
• Mirantis/Kubernetes or similar container platforms
• Understanding of cross-border payments and nostro transactions (highly beneficial)
