AI Algorithm Developer

The AI Algorithm Developer will focus on developing advanced algorithms that integrate deep learning, computational geometry, and medical imaging for heart.ai, our innovative cloud-based software. The ideal candidate will possess strong software development skills, particularly in Python, and have a robust background in medical image analysis, enhancing the capabilities of our platform aimed at supporting cardiac interventions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop algorithms for cardiac interventions.

• Build and optimize 3D segmentation and modeling pipelines.

• Design, train, and validate deep learning models for integration into heart.ai.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clinical needs are met.

• Work with Regulatory and Quality teams to ensure compliance standards are maintained.

• Continuously improve algorithm accuracy and computational efficiency.

• Contribute to research in exploring new algorithmic methods.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with deep learning models and computational geometry algorithms.

• Strong software development skills in Python.

• Experience with TypeScript and AWS cloud products is a plus.

• Background in medical image analysis including 3D data processing.

• Familiarity with frameworks such as Numpy, Scipy, PyTorch, and VTK.

• Solid understanding of algorithm optimization and validation methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with mesh handling and geometric feature extraction in medical imaging.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical device development.
