Agile Delivery Lead / Team Coach

We are looking for an Agile Delivery Lead who not only manages sprints but also acts as a coach for the team— including HR-related topics such as team dynamics, conflict resolution, and personnel development. Hands-on, pragmatic, results-oriented.

You will be the central point of contact for a team of 3 BA/POs and a release manager and will ensure that all work streams run synchronously.

You will join a strategically important initiative within the German financial IT landscape, operating in a highly regulated banking context. The setup is professional, structured, and quality-driven — with strong governance and demanding stakeholders.

Your tasks

• Management of agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) across multiple workstreams in the Sparkassen project environment.

• HR coaching: team building, conflict management, individual development.

• Coordination between the 3 BA/PO workstreams and release management.

• Close cooperation with specialist departments, IT and financial IT.

• Impediment removal and escalation management.

• Ensuring quality and velocity within the team.

• Support with compliance-related processes (SOC2, ISO 27001).

Your profile

• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach or Delivery Lead.

• Sparkasse / Finanz Informatik experience strongly preferred.

• Proven experience in HR coaching or team leadership (not just Scrum ceremonies).

• Experience in managing multiple parallel work streams.

• Understanding of regulatory requirements (SOC2, ISO, BaFin/MaRisk if applicable).

• Basic knowledge of AI and openness to AI-supported working methods.

• Fluent German (C1+) — mandatory.

• Certifications welcome (PSM, SAFe, coaching certificates).

General conditions

• Location: almost Remote – once a month would be a meeting in Frankfurt, Hanover or Münster (if possible) // Onboarding onsite in Germany (Frankfurt, Hanover or Münster).

• Contract type: B2B / Contracting.

• Duration: min. 31.12.2026.

Sprint execution, HR coaching, team management, impediment removal.

Client context: Savings bank (Sparkasse) expanding an existing team.
IT landscape: Finanz Informatik (FI) ecosystem.
Delivery model: Hands-on execution — no architects, pure delivery focus.
Locations: Frankfurt, Hannover, or Münster - visits once per month
Language: German mandatory (all roles).
Compliance scope: SOC2, ISO 27001.
