ABAP Developer for a Retail Company (Remote)

• Scope: Full-time
• Location: Remote (with possible on-site visits if needed)
• Start: Immediate or per agreement
• Duration: B2B - until end of 2025 + potential for extension

We are seeking an ABAP developer eager to work with master data, assortment, and pricing in a dynamic retail environment. Our client—a rapidly growing retail company—is seeking a consultant to support their ongoing SAP initiatives. This engagement can be carried out remotely and is expected to start soon.

Key Responsibilities

• ABAP Development: Develop and customize SAP solutions, with a strong focus on ABAP.
• Data Management: Oversee master data (including assortment and pricing) to support critical retail operations.
• Process Optimization: Streamline and maintain processes for data flows, integrations, and system solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a robust, efficient system landscape.

Requirements:

• Several years of hands-on ABAP development in SAP environments ( senior level)
• Proven track record working with master data—ideally in retail, assortment, or pricing.
• Solid grasp of retail processes, able to convert functional needs into technical solutions.
• Thrives in a collaborative setting, enjoys discussions and idea exchanges with peers.
• Comfortable working both independently and in agile team setups.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus).

Nice to have :

• SAP Retail Expertise: Familiarity with SAP Retail or similar industry-specific modules.
• S/4HANA: Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its broader capabilities.
• End-to-End Projects: Involvement in projects covering full data flow and integrated solutions.
