ABAP Developer

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking an experienced ABAP Developer with over 7 years of specialized expertise. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in ALV Reporting, ABAP OO, and workflows, among other key development areas. This role demands a deep understanding of translating functional designs into technical specifications and adherence to development guidelines.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional teams to capture and understand requirements.
• Transform functional designs into detailed technical specifications.
• Develop objects in alignment with established development guidelines.
• Conduct thorough unit testing of developed objects.
• Create comprehensive technical designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing phases and post-go-live.

Key Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in ABAP development.
• Proficiency in ALV Reporting.
• Strong skills in ABAP Object-Oriented programming.
• Experience with Smart Forms.
• Knowledge of User-exit and BADI implementations.
• Familiarity with IDOC enhancements.
• Workflow development experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional SAP modules.
• Knowledge of integration techniques.
• Familiarity with best practices in coding and testing.
